Zayn Malik may only be pursuing rapping in his spare time, but 50 Cent says that he would totally sign the One Direction singer and mentor him! Even though he already has tracks with Naughty Boy in the works, the famous rapper says that he would love to help him pursue a rap career if he wants.
"If Zayn wants a rap career, just because of who he is, he is going to sell records. But if he wants to be credible he has to be with the right people," he said in an interview with The Sun.
"I'd happily sign him up to my label, mentor him and have him working with the biggest rappers on the planet."
We know that they've met at the 2014 iHeartRadio Music Festival, so it might not be too far-fetched.
Since the 1D guys have the okay from Simon Cowell to work on their solo projects, this could totally happen. But we don't actually know how serious he is about rapping — he hasn't spoken up about any plans to pursue it, even though his collaborators have.
