Life sometimes deals you a cruel blow. Then after dealing you a cruel blow, life dumps more horrible news on you. Such is the case for One Direction fans this week.
After the news broke that Zayn Malik was leaving the tour on account of stress, fans were brokenhearted. The band is in the middle of a huge world tour and fans worried about how their favorite group would bounce back. (Turns out, they handled it beautifully).
But now there's even more horrible news for devoted 1D fans. Louis Tomlinson and his girlfriend of four years, Eleanor Calder, have broken up. This is a Stage Five boy band tragedy.People reports the news was confirmed by a rep for the band.
"Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago," a rep confirms to PEOPLE. "They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time."
According to People, the couple tried to make it work but Louis's touring and appearance schedule made it difficult. He is reportedly devastated by the split. News of yet another member of 1D in emotional distress is probably going to hit their fans hard.
But, as mentioned before, the band continues to tour and perform for their fans. So all hope is not lost, 1D fans. The show will go on.
